Fuel injection pump overflow valve Andoria 4CT90, 4C90 Motorpal (code: 6904120 / 782015466)

Description Fuel injection pump overflow valve Andoria 4CT90, 4C90 Motorpal

A new, genuine Motorpal high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) overflow (return) valve fitting for 2.4-liter Andoria diesel and turbo-diesel engines (engine variants 4CT90, 4C90, and 4CTi90).

This valve is installed on the return line outlet of the Motorpal high-pressure fuel pump. Its primary function is to maintain stable internal fuel pressure within the low-pressure section of the pump and to return excess diesel fuel to the tank. Proper operation of the pressure-regulating valve prevents air from entering the fuel system, ensures smooth engine idling, and facilitates starting the diesel engine after the vehicle or specialized machinery has been parked for an extended period.
